Definicija nasilja na radnom mestu predložena je na stručnom skupu 1995.
godine u organizaciji Evropske komisije: „Incidenti u kojima su osobe zlostavljane,
pretnje ili napadi u okolnostima u vezi sa njihovim radom, uključujući putovanje na
posao i sa posla, uključujući eksplicitne ili implicitne izazove za njihovu
bezbednost, dobrobit ili zdravlje“ Cilj ove studije je utvrđivanje prevalencije nasilja,
karakteristika nasilja i ispitivanje faktora i posledica koji mogu biti povezani sa
izloženošću nasilju populaciji lekara, medicinskih sestara i tehničara u
psihijatrijskim ustanovama u Republici Srbiji.
Ova studija je osmišljena kao opservaciona anketna studija koja je obuhvatila
191 zdravstvenog radnika (lekara, medicinskog tehničara, radnika u kuhinji ili
održavanju i dr.) iz tri psihijatrijske ustanove: Specijalizovana bolnica Dr
Slavoljub Bakalović, Vršac, Srbija, Specijalizovana psihijatrijska bolnica, Kovin,
Srbija i Specijalizovana psihijatrijska bolnica Gornja Toponica, Niš, Srbija.
Upotrebom i validacijom dva instrumenta; Upitnika o agresiji i Upitnika o stresu na
radnom mestu, ova studija procenjuje primarne i sekundarne ishode potencijalnog
nasilja u psihijatrijskim ustanovama nad zdravstvenim radnicima (učestalost,
trajanje, uzrok, vrsta nasilja, mesto i vrsta ustanove u odnosu na vrstu nasilja, odsustvo
sa posla u prethodnih 12 meseci, ali i identifikacijom karakteristika i motiva
napadača.
Pored toga, ova studija ukazuje na značaj prevencije nasilja nad zdravstvenim
radnicima u psihijatrijskim ustanovama u Republici Srbiji i ukazuje na neophodnost
intervencija u cilju zaštite zaposlenih u vidu obuke, pružanja mera fizičke zaštite,
ranog otkrivanja zaposlenih izloženih verbalnom nasilju kao potencijalnog
prethodnika. fizičkom nasilju, formiranju politike zaštite zaposlenih i većoj
podršci nadređenih.

The definition of workplace violence was proposed at an expert meeting organized by
the European Commission in 1995: "Incidents in which persons are abused, threatened or
attacked in circumstances related to their work, including travel to and from work, including
explicit or implicit challenges for their safety, well-being or health" The aim of this study is to
determine the prevalence of violence, the characteristics of violence and the examination of
factors and consequences that may be associated with exposure to violence among the
population of doctors, nurses and technicians in psychiatric institutions in the Republic of
Serbia.
This study was designed as an observational survey study that included 191 health
workers (doctors, medical technicians, kitchen or maintenance workers, etc.) from three
psychiatric institutions: Specialized Hospital Dr. Slavoljub Bakalović, Vršac, Serbia,
Specialized Psychiatric Hospital, Kovin, Serbia and Specialized Psychiatric Hospital Gornja
Toponica, Niš, Serbia. Using and validating two instruments; Questionnaire on aggression and
Questionnaire on workplace stress, this study assesses the primary and secondary outcomes of
potential violence in psychiatric institutions against health workers (frequency, duration, cause,
type of violence, place and type of institution in relation to the type of violence, absence from
work in the previous 12 months, but also by identifying the characteristics and motives of the
attackers.
In addition, this study indicates the importance of preventing violence against healthcare
workers in psychiatric institutions in the Republic of Serbia and indicates the necessity of
interventions aimed at protecting employees in the form of training, providing physical
protection measures, early detection of employees exposed to verbal violence as a potential
precursor. physical violence, the formation of an employee protection policy and greater
support from superiors.
